It took me a LONG time to build the courage to actually have this show. This is something that I’ve been wanting to do for quite some time now!!!! A few reasons why it took so long is b/c I wasn’t sure if I was ready to “open up” this chapter about my life. However, I KNOW first hand how hard this walk is and my purpose is to help YOU embrace life. So here it is:
For those of you who don’t know me, my significant other has been incarcerated for 7 years now!! Although my walk to “holding it down” for him hasn’t been perfect, I have done a pretty damn good job at holding it down. Without getting too deep(b/c I can truly go on and on and on) I’ll try to make this as sweet as possible.
When you hold it down for someone who’s world has pretty much stopped, Your world stops too
You do the time with that person. I haven’t always been able to move forward w my life and I realize that my life has been on hold for 6 + years.
Anyhow, this show isn’t about me. It’s about ALL of my lady Angels who is in this situation. I feel your pain and I KNOW your struggle. This show is for you.
I’m having a show “Inmate Wives” for all of my lady angels who is going through this!!! I haven’t booked a date for it at this point b/c I’m still working on the show. I NEED you to join us!!! I KNOW the world is against you!! I KNOW your family and friends think you should move on!!! I KNOW ppl say “It’ll NEVER work”
Angels, I have a few SUCCESS stories for you. Women who held it down for YEARS, man came home and they are doing WONDERFUL!!! All men in jail are NOT bad men!! All women holding it down are NOT stupid!!!

Opening Up a New Chapter

Why You will Quit Your New Year's Resolution
Happy New Year!!!! Wishing you a prosperous year!!!!
Count EVERYTHING all joy!!! No matter what happened to you in 2010, you only carry it with you this year if you CHOOSE. It's up to you.
I'm not gonna sit here and hype you up to make all of these resolutions, although it's great to have goals. What I would like to talk to you about is why you set resolutions and break them!!!
It's impossible to change your fruit w/o starting with the roots and the seeds. In other words, you can't just cut off your behavior patterns and think that's gonna work. You have to start with the roots/within. Set your goals, perfect. More importantly, make a vow to work on yourself this year. Work on the inside!!
How can you say you're gonna lose weight and just stop eating w/o searching for the deeper root, which is why you started eating out of control in the first place? How can you say you want to find your wife/husband this year when you hate women/men due to a past relationship/friendship/family member that you hate? It's impossible.
Let's start with forgiveness. You have to forgive. You can't walk around bitter and expect to get better. NOPE, it won't work. Forgive your baby mama/baby daddy/baby mama's baby daddy. Just let it go and move forward. To forgive is to set the prisoner free and discover the prisoner is you.
So set your goals...work towards execution. But more importantly, start w/n...work on completing yourself. Work on loving yourself. Find the deeper issue. Dig deep this year!!! Love you all and Embrace life with ambition!!!!

Let Your Guard Down and LET LOVE IN
I wanna talk to my ladies today!!! I know you've been hurt before and it's hard to open up. I've been with the same man every since I was 12 years old and it's still a process to COMPLETELY open up(but I'm working on it). I challenge you to LET LOVE IN. Love is such a gift from God. LOVE IS GOD!!
Give yourself a chance and forgive the man who hurt you. Rather it's your dad, brother, uncle, cousin, a man, EVEN if it's the man that you're STILL with. Let it go and let it in at the same time. I've experienced so many obstacles in my relationship but you must FIGHT for ANYTHING WORTH having.
Also, it should be your ABSOLUTE pleasure to cater to your man. Put the pride down and just love damnit!! Embrace life....all else is meaningless.
“It is better to lose your pride with someone you love rather than to lose that someone you love with your useless pride.”

You Choose What You Strengthen
Everyday I struggle with letting go of things that hurt me. It's a daily battle. However, in order to move forward and be the best YOU that you can be, you have to let go. Forgive that person. Forgive yourself. To forgive is to set the prisoner free and discover the prisoner was you.
I now realize that it wasn't even myself holding on to the pain, it's my ego. Ego means to Edge God Out!! No one is exempt from pain. No one is exempt from happiness. It is however....a choice. You choose what you give your power to. You choose what you strengthen. Move forward. Focus on what REALLY matters in life. Stop dwelling on what was!! People doing big things never made it sweating small things.
